Ded Jimmy: Ded Jimmy lives with his Uncle Grim in the town of Dead River. A young skeleton, he gets along fairly well with people at school, excepting the bullies and their ilk. He usually succeeds when he tries his best at things, despite what his Uncle may say. His favorite food is the breakfast cereal Cracklin' Oat Brains. He's normally a pretty nice fella, but quick to defend Vic if anyone but himself or Uncle Grim calls him the "F" word. Not dead, but not really alive, he's Ded. Ded Jimmy.

Vicktor Vlad VonRocmahninoftivaletrewednesdaypulotetepes, Jr: Ded Jimmy's best friend and neighbor, Vic. The two met when Vic moved into the neighborhood, and after a rocky start, fast became best friends. Vic has a bit of a weight problem, which he attributes to "glandth." His favorite food, strangely, is carrots. Soft-spoken and lisping his way around town, Vic's a shy young vampire who can't always get things right. His best pal, Jimmy, is always there to back him up though.

Uncle Grim (Reaper): Ded Jimmy's Uncle Grim acts as Jimmy's parental figure in Dead River. He works at the local Reaping Plant as the Reaper for Earth. The horror of this job causes him to drink heavily, but it hardly affects him since he's really just a skeleton. His favorite beer is Scythe, and he can usually be seen with a bottle in his hand as he reads the evening paper. Normally a complete bastard, he can sometimes be kind enough to be called just a jerk.
